My mother worked as a trainee cook in the kitchens of the house of the Duchess of Wellington in the 1930s, until the Duchess died.
Any clues as to how I can research this please?

thanks for your response wolf63, I had researched all those sites previously, and have twice emailed the contact address given by West Green House, but still no answer.
Pity the census records stopped at 1911 or I might have been able to pick up some info from them.
