Does anyone know where, in France, Charles Adrien Zolinerowski was born in about 1883. I cannot trace his ancestry further without knowing which French Departement he came to England from.

Sorry I have had a look round but no luck.
I see on Ancestry he maried a Rose Kate Easthope
April 1903. St George in the East Middlesex.
I wonder if you obtained a marriage certificate
You would find his Fathers name and occupatiion.
Then you could try his name on the french site
and perhaps find his son that way

Thanks for the try but although I have the marriage certificate it does not help, his father, who was also Charles Zolinerowski, was a cap maker but there is no trace of anyone of that surname on the general sites in France.

There are quite a few Zolinerowski's on FB in France, see if they can tell you anything regarding their surname................
