Hi, Does anyone remember a name of a game where you are in charge of a helicopter and you have to shoot down the enemy (other planes and land based I think)? I remember flying over a ship yard and land as part of the game. The aspect of play was that you looked directly down as the screen rolled by. All you did was fire, and control sideways, forwards and backwards (fairly simple). If you did particularly well you could go over a bonus bit which enabled you to get a mini helicopter on your wing to increase your fire power. It was around about 15 -20 years ago, I remember playing it when the fairground came to town. I've been searching for this for years, sorry if the description is a little bit on the ropey side but it's been a while. If anyone knows the name and or where I would be able to get a copy it would be appreciated. Thanks

Ok a tough one, here's some possibilities though.
Tiger Heli from Taito 1985
Chopper I from SNK 1988
Thunder Dragon from NMK 1991
SS Mission from Comad 1992
My money's on tiger heli.

Daisho,
You know your stuff, your right on the money, just googled it and it is the game, thanks so much.
Can't believe the graphics are so basic but it brings back great memories.
Does anyone know where you can get the game or a 'decent' copy for the PC?

I know it was released for the Amiga. Maybe go the emulation route on your PC. It may be available via the MAME or RAINE engines?

Other than downloading the ROM for MAME as Booldawg says, it was released for the playstation 1 on the compilation 'Toaplan Shooting battle 1', but you will be hard pressed to find a copy now. It was also released on the SNES back in it's day.
