well i finnaly got round to trying the multiplayer on GTA IV last night and all was going well until a few of my mates decided we should party up :os
basicly there was 4 of us in the party first attempt to get a game going resulted in one of us dropping and the other 3 getting into the game against another group of 3...
2nd attempt resulted in all of us getting into the ready screen then as soon as the game started we all diconected from live...
3rd attempt just two of us were left so we tried to go into the multiplayer and basicly one or the other of us got diconnected as soon as a game started.
is this a router issue like the halo 3 problems? i havent experienced any problems with mulitplayer on any of my other games (COD4, Army of Two, Halo 3, crackdown etc...)

There are a couple of issues with the party/sandbox mode in GTA at the moment. For example, looking on your friends list will show people playing the game online and you're not given the option to join them.
Rockstar are aware of it and it should be sorted with a patch soon enough - it may have been done already. I don't know as I've been away for the last week and haven't used the 360.
Once the issues are sorted, it should all be fine - I don't know of any mass router based issues that have blighted other games.
