WSC Real 11 Video Game

Can anyone explain to me why on WSC Real 11 (and previous editions of this franchise) you can opt to play against a computer opponent in pool and snooker but not when playing billiards? Does something need to be unlocked first or is it purely a single player practice type game? Any answers appreciated because this has been puzzling (and frustrating) me for quite some time.
