Why can't you just listen to music on your headphones whilst playing?

Then you cant here the ingame sounds like shooting etc
Oh. Right.
I think you could get a connection to plug into the Xbox. Try the usb things on the Xbox and check with your ipod box that you have a lead to plug into a laptop, tv etc it should work for your Xbox!

Yes I have plugged it all in etc but my xbox isnt recognising it... Wonder if I have to download something on my xbox?
Can you not stream your music from your pc?
Have you not ever tryed put a cd in and the xbox saves it onto the x box and when your playing a game you can select any song (Because the music will already be saved)

Hi colette thanks for the suggestion but I dont own any cd's. My ipod is 1st gen and thats far enough out of date as I want to be.
No.

If it was a normal Ipod yes you could if you installed the media update for the Xbox to support AAC files, but it won't work with itouch's or iphones as they both use the same basic (phone) operating system so they are recognized as a digital camera and not as a mass storage device.

get a cheap usb memory stick (it's about £10-£15 for a 4GB these days) make sure it's formatted as FAT32 (most are) and copy your tunes onto that and the Xbox will play them direct from the stick. (not music purchased from apple though)
