Professor Layton Nintendo Game

I've been looking on ebay for this game and have found i think two versions or is it the same game just with different covers? One shows a black cover with a TopHat and the other is showing three 'cartoon' like characters on the cover. Is one newer than the other, or is one an 'adult' version... or are they the same? Please help as I want to buy one for my dad and want to make sure he gets the current one. Thank you.

Hi MustangLady-I had the same problem as I was looking for my daughter for xmas. I don't know whether that 'cartoon' cover is an import although region free. The black top hat seems to be the uk version. I could be wrong. However, I too looked on ebay to buy it but found it cheaper on play.com and was delivered within a few days.

Really sorry the link seems to be showing �46 and yet when I copied and pasted it was showing �24.99. But I would shop around as I still think ebay are more expensive at the moment.

I got it for �25.00 from play too and it had little man on front. Unfortunately the price has gone up due to high demand. It was �24.00 in tesco too

Hi all - I too have been looking for this game for my dad. Finally got it from argos, but on weekend it was on amazon for - wait for it - �89.99!!!!!
