thingymajig for a DS Nintendo.

My ten year old has asked me for a thingymajig for her DS Nintendo. She says that it is cheaper than buying games and you can get them at the GAME shop. She says that you can down load games from the internet and store them on this and they cost about £50.00.

PLEASE can anyone enlighten me as to what actually it is I have to ask for in the shop, the purpose of them etc.

Thank you so much.

Katie. x

aparently there some R4 / M3 cards that you can buy that fitinto the ds and then you get a micro chip thing (not very good with technology terms) that you put into the side of the R$ and you can download games or something for the internet.. search in on youtube andit comes up

The chips like the M3 are naughty ways of downloading the games without paying for them. You download the game, plug the chip into your PC, copy the game over and then put the chip in the DS and play.

You will not find them in any major stores, maybe a local independent games store.

I have heard rumors that Nintendo can detect the games are copied if you use them on the wifi mutiplayer, and bar the DS from the service.

Furrycheeky is right, the DS can be barred from Nintendo's online stuff.

You will not find anything like that in Game, it's illegal to do and you're breaching all manner of copyright laws. If you're going to do it, then you're going to do it, but you can find out for yourself.
