Just got a PS3 which has flattened my bank account so have to wait a while for the HD TV for best results. I have seen a Samsung Monitor with inbuilt TV tuner that also has the inputs for the analogue PS3 leads. Would this give me a much better picture with the higher resolution of the monitor or do I still really need the pucker HD TV?
Thanks

What type of other inputs does the monitor have? Uisng the supplied lead you will get a decent picture on the monitor, but nothing can compete with a proper HD screen, if the monitor has a DVI input then you'll be ok as you can get HDMI to DVI leads which willgive you a much better picture.

Haven't I seen you on the PS forum?
As said it is the connection in between that is important rather than what the equipment is capable of outputing or displaying.

HDMI - DVI might be the solution.
