There was a typo in my earlier thread andy....what I should have said was that I would NOT include you ! The thread has disappeared now. I had a small stroke last year and my typing has gone to pot. I hope I haven't caused you any unnecessary distress by my clumsiness !

Mikey...I read the thread and I understood what you meant so it's very likely that Andy read it the same way.
Hi mikey - thank you for your update post.

I confess I was a little surprised, and it occurred to me immediately that this was a typo, since we have almost always seen eye-to-eye in our positions on various debates.

Think nothing of it - but thank you again for your courteous correction.

Actually, I put all this into the previous thread, but when I pressed submit, the whole thread had gone !

Glad I have cleared that up....and thanks to Ummmm as well !

I am starting to develop some bad habits when it comes to typing. A common problem I am finding is meaning things like "wasn't" but typing "was". It occurs with couldn't, wouldn't, etc. Ruddy irritating which is why I wish we had a facility to correct our posts after submission !
Just read it before you press submit, mikey. Easier said than done, though.

Indeed Tilly !
a counsel of perfection, Tilly!
These are called 'polar mistakes' Mikey and you don't need a stroke to suffer them

I stopped my push bike at a green light ( er I only did that once !) and got run over by a car that knew that Green was 'Go!'

disappearing threads ... and the c++p remains....

uv course Tilly I always do

..... Tilz - so you really thought that Malcolm had one el in that question about Shakespeare last week .... I thought so
I said it was easier said. I can't spell Malcom, anyway, Peter.
