I'm just curious to see what everyone thinks, what is you favourite video game, or even your favourite game series?

Halo.
After sensible soccer and Tomb raider (Series), all those years ago... erm... Has to be one of the 'need for speed' games.
Lemmings was the last game I enjoyed ...
Lemmings was brilliant... loved those little critters ;-) B****rds!
WGT golf on iPad
Jet-Set Willy :-)
...and Worms.
Seeing AnswerPrancer mention Jet Set Willy reminded me of Manic Miner. I loved both of those games. I wish I could get them now.
Q Bert
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis on PC. I still play it now, some 13 years after release.
Will never be bettered IMHO.
I used to enjoy DROD. Used to drive me mad.
Strip snap. !
I play PC games rather than video games, and of course old favourites fade from mind even if they were addictive at the time. But I'm having problems thinking of anything better than DA Origins at present. I've played it to death and still feel a need to give it another go. I think the fact you can add & alter the game keeps it fairly fresh. Realised i disliked the last in the series after a minute of playing it though. It had abandoned the instinctive mouse controlled movement and replaced it with that awful, difficult to get, non-instinctive keyboard control complete with the dreaded 'jump' command.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit on PC currently (probably).

Burnout series on PS2 10 years ago.

Lemmings 2: The Tribes and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge on Amiga way before that.
Battlefield, hands down the most fun mp game.

Offline, Bioshock, it has everything you want in a game.
Haven't played any video games for ages but back before the Big Bang, when computers were in their infancy, i got my 11 year old daughter a Sinclair ZX Spectrum and one of the games that came with it was Robocop which my daughter didn't think too much of but which i quickly became addicted. The addiction only abated once i had reached the last level and 'killed' ED-209. The game just wasn't the same after that.
Pong!
Can't choose between Spyro the dragon or Ratchet and Clank. I still play both over and over.
James pond....I think I got to about level 7 or maybe it was level 2 ....?
