I'm still trying to decide if it is summer yet? Feels more like autumn. So where did summer go? Maybe I should have gone abroad after all.
Anyway, one good reason to stick around is to play the Links guessing games that we organise here every weekend.
Not heard of them? Look in Q&P tomorrow morning.
AB Member Fordward is setting the MM Game for September. Look out for an introduction at 8:45 and the challenge itself will follow on the same thread at 9am sharp.
The game closes at 7pm Sunday.
The another version of the game is run by Seekeerz in Australia. That is the KM links game based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords. Also starts in Q & P early on Saturday morning. Play any time before midnight on Sunday.
Why not have a go tomorrow? Great fun for all the family. New players always welcome.
Meanwhile, this thread, affectionately known as "The Shrubbery" is open for general socialising and scheming.
Evening Pauline and Tearinghair.
It has been very warm today here in Surrey and the forecast for the weekend is for more of the same.
I am off to Scotland in the middle of next week to one of my grandsons wedding, hopefully the weather up there will be fine and dry, but doubt it will be as warm as it is down here.
Let's hope the weather is good for the wedding tearinghair.
We are decorating at the moment, so there is dust everywhere. I might just have to escape into the sunshine! :-)
It's x-ray's family wedding, not mine Pauline. My grandsons are only 8 and 6 and have just started their new school in Hacienda Heights near Los Angeles. We've now sorted out Skype so that I can at least see them on screen - no plans to go to California for the moment.
