Nethack

Hi! Im playing Slash'em- a variant of the more popular "Nethack."
I play it in a console/terminal/whatever in a windows 7 OS. I've noticed across several versions that when I go to #enhance something and it is on page two I cannot enhance it. If I press 'enter' it will exit the skills menu. buttons I've tried have failed me. Using a terminal in linux i can get around this but a solution for windows would be nice. thanks!
