Yes Dave...very cautiously :-)

Thanks x
Our IT guys (for where I work) recommended using logmein rather than pc anywhere.
We've used it for about 18 months now with no problems.
teamviewer is very good, and it's free.

I support customers all over the world using logmein.
There are paid and free options.

Thank you all. I will pass it on :-) x
Pass it on.!? To whom.?... I would just 'pass it over' if it involves your computer..... Perhaps I am being cynical. :-)

Ron.
There's nothing wrong with remote access if done properly Ron.............I've had some invaluable help from various people via this method.
Hi craft....Everyone to their own...I think is the saying.

I feel happy to keep my computer free of intrusions and, as regards help and advice, I have e/mail connections whereby friends can discuss matters with me and offer advice; but best of all, AB is always available to me.

Ron.
I often use remote access to work on remote machines, if it's a regular thing I'd use logmein, if it's just a one off then teamviewer.

The PC isn't used for anything personal. It's mainly used by the kids. Because it's used by the kids it's full of crap.
