Asking these questions on behalf of boy #2 so have no idea what it is actually about.

Q. How do you get to become the 'Crusader' character?

Q. When you become the Crusader, how do you activate the outfit that you have bought for the Crusader (bought using Microsoft points)?

Thanks to anyone who can help (I know the game is too old for him but it has been vetted by himself and has been deemed to be ok).

I'm under the impression that the 'Crusader skin' is for use within mutiplayer - it is not part of the single-player story. When playing multiplayer the player can choose from a variety of characters to use, each with a different appearance and techniques - the crusader being one of them.

It depends what you mean, there is a crusader "avatar" item, or a crusader skin, the skin is available in the multi player deathmatch games only, and you can only select it if another player has not already done so. In your profile on uplay you can select this skin as your default if you wish, but again it will only select if someone in the lobby has not already selected it.

If its an avatar item however, he will need to select it in the relevant section, this has nothing to do with the game however.
