Are there any new/newish games my daughter can get for her Dad for father's day? He likes the Call of duty type games,any suggestions would be appreciated,we haven't a clue.

Crysis2 is the best of the recent releases.

it is not similar really apart from the fact that it is a shooter with a solid multiplayer, maybe the best option would be to preorder the new cod?

I love shooters as much as the next twitchy geek but there are some amazing games out there that are not shooters but massively fun and so so well done, Assassins creed - brotherhood is a breath taking game, beautiful to look at, brutal in its combat but also full of culture!

Yes he 's got Assasins Creed- the brotherhood,Fall out new vegas is the one he's been playing recently.

Crisis (but it hasn't had very good reviews) maybe something a bit older like Rainbow Six, of Ghost Recon.

Enslaved is a very good game, funny in places and good graphics. if our looking for a cheap option what about The Orange Box with half life in it?
