X Box Credit Card Deductions

Does anyone else have problems with Microsoft makiing it difficult to cancel credit card details?

There is a link on the main xbox website to do this but in my experience it never works.
only way to clear it is to phone them.
dont assume just because a card expires it wont be used either! my old debit card is on my sons xbox and although the card expired more than 2 yrs ago they have still renewed his gold live with it twice. not quite sure why the bank let it thru either!
