WoW accounts

I want to create another account on WoW. Do I have to buy another copy of the game as I obbiously cant use the same authentication key i used the first time. Any help gratefully received!x

Not being nosey, but why?

If its another character you can create as many as you like.

you don't need to buy another game but you will need to pay for another account.
like dave says, you can create any amount of characters you want on the one acount but only play one at a time.
if you try and log on from another pc at the same time, you'll need that other account.

thankyou both-yes my son wants to be able 2 log on his laptop and play with someone playing on the pc so we need 2 accounts. not sure how to create another account as it asked for authentication key?

i'v put wow on our pc and laptop and used the same authentication key but i only have the one account so don't use both at the same time.
i'm "almost" sure that they would both work using two accounts.
give it a go! let me know how you get on.

I'm sure my mate Scott and his flat mate were using the same key at the same time next to eachother. One on the laptop and one on the Mac, they used to team up and fight at the same time. Surprisingly entertaining to watch!

If your son want's to play independant of you, then yes he'll need another account. You'll either have ot buy another game or download (and pay that way) one.
