Can anyone tell me where i can read detailed info on student teacher software Licence,

and why i cannot use the same software at my place of work.although i bought the software to help me with my college course

I assume that this question refers to Microsoft products. If so, the relevant quote from their site is this:
"You can only purchase this product if you are a qualifying student, parent, guardian or teacher as described below. Please note that all software is for the educational use of the qualifying user and is not for any commercial use. When the qualifying user ceases to be eligible then the licence becomes a perpetual licence so the user can continue to use the product."
