If you'd spelt Maltesers correctly, it comes up straight away in Google

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm maltesers!!!  NOW I'm hungry!!!

I had thought spraying of some sort - it;s the only way with fake tans, too, I believe.  Julian's comment on the link fiven by Kos confirms that - thanks.

The centres are placed in what look like huge cement mixers.  The chocolate is sprayed on while the pieces tumble round.
Now you've really got my taste buds going Burgers!

Does anybody else call them 'small geezers'?

or is it just me?

malteasers pellets ( pure glucose and horlicks powder cooked at high temp ) are passed along very long heavy rollers which have an offset of 2 thou this flicks the malteasers as they tumble giving an even coating , they are finally coated in pectin to polish them , i used to work on the production line
