I sympathize with their cause the way they have been let down by Clegg and Co, but what struck me , they were nearly all smoking a fag?
How do they afford to do this at nearly £6 a packet, and btw, not all of them were roly's either.

one of them was in the local paper after being arrested in the the first protest. He had some double-barred name and resided in a pictureseque village in the New Forest.

I'm not academic and left school at 16 - straight into employment ,however I am able to come up with the following equation;

can't afford uni = get a job.
if job the is rubbish its ok, you're obviously very bright and will climb the ladder hence, a better job.
double-barrelled (damn my comprehensive level education)
agree booldawg
Nearly £6 a packet? Wish they were that cheap. Probably smuggled imports. Why do you think the ice cream van only comes round in the winter?

good points boold, I am not against smoking, I used to, quite heavy as well, but I do wonder what their money is going on, that said, they may be under a lot of pressure to do well?
Question Author
are they dearer than that Mike???
They were saying on 'Daytime' this morning that there will be a shortage of Doctors in the future, as their Uni courses are longer than most and their fees will amount to more.
Question Author
I do think theres a case for what they are doing, bloody lying Gov Ministers!!
but surely as doctors on a doctor wage a 9 grand fee should be easier to pay off
doctors earn a good wage, Im sure the fee wont deem them poor..
Question Author
I didn't see this cazzzz but I would agree, when a Doctor qualifies, £9000 would be a huge burden for him/her tp pay back
Question Author
sorry <wouldn't>
i dont know how they get time off from work for all these protests!
oh silly me they DONT work or do they??
well doctors come and go, i fear the inevitable shortage of media studies and history of fine arts graduates in the future.

ha-ha Bernie
if this lot are our future god help us
they bunked off uni ironically..
The nephew has qualified as a doctor and buggered off to work in NZ......how will they recover his fees?
With a literacy level of 12y olds, our futures look dire relying of them.
