Not sure about most expensive menu but the top three restaurants in the world are:-
1. Nomu, Copenhagen, Denmark
2. El Bulli, Roses, Spain
3. The Fat Duck, Bray, UK

Three stars is the highest accolade, there's less than 100 3* restaurants worldwide.
is the fat duck, heston b ?
I believe so. Snail porridge anyone?
Yep. Nomu is Rene Redzepi (sp) who also worked at El Bulli under Chef Patron Ferran Adria.
Awesome....lol

The top two names of the 3 posted by Eccles, sounds lovely and romantic...and what's the Brit one called? The Fat Duck....charming!
I'm going to try and book the Fat Duck for OH's birthday...

I don't think I'd order any wine though....Might sneak some in in my handbag...
Umm, I don't know when your OH's birthday is but you might want to bear in mind that HB is opening a restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park soon.
It's May...do you know how long the waiting list is? It doesn't say on his website...
ummmm, i don't think it's that long. can't remember where i found that out but we're heading there for a special birthday of mine in a couple of years and i wondered how long in advance you had to book. it's something like 3 months, i'll try and find out where i read it...
Did that Ethan but it only goes to November. All the dates I clicked on were fully booked...
it says they accept reservations 2 calendar months in advance, so that's why it only goes to november at the moment. if you want a reservation in may i guess you'll have to ring up in march/april. i had assumed there would be a horrendous waiting list, maybe a year or so but two months isn't bad.
It probably would be longer if they let you book further in advance.
Spaces become available exactly 2 months in advance and tend to get booked up by 11am each day. Only rarely are any available after then or to book online.
I will have to set a reminder in my phone...
Sounds rather like my doctor's surgery. You can't book more than a fortnight in advance, and unless you ring between 8.30 and 8.33 the next day you'll find all that day's appointments are gone too.
You should also be prepared to accept a day/sitting that they have available rather than specifying when you want to go.

It is worth it though!
I think I'd prefer a day sitting.
