I remember cooking these at first school ( well a group of us and a helper) must be over 20 years ago now.I`ve never heard of them since but I remember they contained semolina  or something like that, and they were yummy.Anyone ever heard of them? I can`t find anything on the numerous internet cookery sites.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but they are from Morocco and have semolina in them...

Moroccan Semolina cake with honey

Ingredients
300g hard wheat semolina (fine grains)
400ml condensed milk
200ml water
60g butter
a teaspoon of oil

Method
Heat your oven to 200 degrees.
Mix the semolina with water in a bowl.
Add the butter, oil and milk. Mix well.
Drop all in a greased tin.
Cook 30 to 35 minutes.
Take out the content and let it cool.
Cut into little parts.
