Don't you believe it, they still eat the grockles that arrive in their hoards in the summer Bobbi. They didn't eat us when we arrived in 1979 though because we joined their ranks and became cannibals!!

The flat plains of norfolk were like the plains of africa back then..they'd feel right at home..why wouldn't they eat human flesh...you didn't waste valuable protein if you were living at that level....

Grockles are outsiders/tourists... I've heard locals down on the South Coast use the term...
still a local delicacy....

I guess the famous Norfolk 'sixth finger' came in handy if you were peckish and wanted a snack ;-p

where did you read that? It wasn't mentioned in any of the reports I've seen.

Its my bewty, not my lovely. And after years I've gone of the human flesh a bit. Lots of ketchup is whats needed.
