I'm looking for a recipe for sausage rolls. I found one recipe but found that the pastry was really crumbly and fell apart whilst eating them. Any other recipes seem to use frozen pastry in the recipe. Has anyone got a nice recipe for sausage rolls or even a link to a site?

I use flaky pastry, the crumbly stuff sounds like shortcrust

Yeah it was called shortcrust in the recipe. Do you make the flaky stuff yourself?
Frozen flaky pastry is just fine - defrost as instructed. 1 lb sausage meat, into which add half pack of sage and onion stuffing, and mix well. Roll out pastry, form sausage meat into 2 long roll shapes and place on pastry lengthwise allowing enough pastry to cover over. Wet edge, cut into long roll, and then into pieces about 2" long.
Place on wet baking sheet and cook in oven on medium/high temp for about 15 mins till golden.
I dont make the pastry myself, I dont have the time in the day, I use the jus roll stuff, just as good in my opinion :)

I don't see the point of making them if you don't make the pastry too. Why not just buy the whole thing in that case?
You can chose the quality of the sausage.
