am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

Morning all.

Yes all those sayings of my dad's. we call them "DaddyHoadisms" and it's funny when my daughter was young and she'd say "is that a daddyhoadism" when I quoted him!!

Lovely morning here from what I can see from my window as am still luxuriating in bed.. (yes looks like urinating to me also!)
Kit I had a cape like that, when I was 17 and first dating DH except it was red...my mum made it for me...used to wear it over a miniskirt with black leather boots....but Sherlock? Sorry totally no!!

This is the real thing!
pS am sat in the day case ward...we got here at07.30 saw the surgeon at 08.00 and he is due to go down at 11.30......we were up at 05.00 so it's going to be a long long day
DH has nodded off.....
Morning each...
Hi woofy, hang on in there, the days are very long when you're the one waiting and I hope all goes well.

No sunshine today by the look of it which is probably just as well, I'm not feeling very energetic. I know what you mean Kit about one task & you crash, I'm feeling the after effects of my pottering & I was only busy for about an hour...the rest of the time I was leaning on the gate.
It's true, you do remember the small things, so hopefully one day when I'm gone someone will remember my small things with fondness :o)

That's a very swish cape (swish, haha...oh never mind) and great for shoplifting which is what you'd need to do if you kitted yourself out from that website. Some lovely things but a tad expensive. I do like good classics though, (not that I have any), trenchcoats, navy blazers etc and they would last you for years.

Neti's an angel? I think not...

Oh I get it now Kit .I've just watched the Ryanair clip from Jno.Haha.
Morning all
Bright and breezy here so I've pegged out .Hope it keeps dry.

What a long old day for you Woofy .I know the feeling .I nearly nod off when waiting in the hospital .It's so warm in these places too. Last time we were there I was the only person left in the waiting area as it was a late appt and they kept asking me if I was OK . Perhaps they thought I was looking for a bed for the night :)

I'd better shift my mutton and get the bread and papers .Take care all .
Hi t here biddies.

Am also feeling the effects of the gardening yesterday. I fell asleep in the car both to the pub (in Holt) and back from it last night. Fell almost literally into bed when we got home and woke up at 5.00am ish with all the aches and pains in the world. Have taken ibuprufen and decided perhaps the garden is best left alone today. I have difficulty in recognising my own limitations and work through aches and pains - and suffer for it.

Hope all goes well today Woof. I am sure it will and yes, being the one waiting is worse in some ways than the one going through it!!

Loved the video links from jno and Swedie.

Hope BinL is OK Nets.

(Part of my purple trouser suit wedding outfit included a cape!! (and knee length purple platform boots!!)

Sort of sunny here, but not as nice as yesterday. I have friends popping round this afternoon on their way back to Hertfordshire. I shall have to try to stay awake.

My fallen angel will only half open and I want to use it for my avatar!

Yesterday evening B-i-l was slghtly better, they think he wasn't taking his diabetic meds properly (and my sis does not cook him healthy food!)

Tried to log in on Android when I was downtown ( ♫ No not Petula Clark ♫ ) having a coffee but it was so fiddly I couldn't.

Thinking of you both woofy with love and parayers xx
Oh dear, bad luck shaney, Lottie's already bagged the last loaf of bread in Norfolk today!

Oh yes, I forgot about the baby, I love him, he's hilarious!
Spookily this randomly popped up yesterday while I was looking for something totally unrelated & it made me laugh so I kept it

I don't want to fall off the frame, so have kept tother one! Thank you!

Actually I may use the half one, I like it!
Afternoon babes (lol@ your baby piccy robi, doesn't look photoshopped, how lucky was that photographer:)

Speaking of tired bodies. The night before this one I had a wonderful dream. A man who reminded me of one of my old Tai Chi instructors was giving me a professional massage and it finished with a facial massage during which I relaxed so completely it was like nirvana, no words, no thoughts. Similar thing happened to me once before - when awake - many years ago, and it was wonderful to be able to revisit that experience in a dream.

Ha ha Shaney I keep imagining what those socks would look like that would go with the Sherlock cape and the Mussolini Lederhosen...! Pleeeeaase design them for me! Woofy did you always appreciate your mother's dressmaking or did she at times present you with the wrong kind (from a teenager's point of view)? Wishing you and Mr W a peaceful evening and night.
♫There must be an angel.playing with my heart .dedooby dee dee diddly dee ♫

I''ve schlepped all the way to Asda (two buses ) for the blasted bread :) We have that Polish bread ,Chleb wiejski as it's similar to German graubrot .
My bro rings me just now and we chat ,then he tells me he went to Asda early this morning .He goes before the streets are aired :)
"Why didn't you say "
"Am I a mind reader "
Hahaa .
I bought a top anyway :) Not sure if I like now though .Impulse buy .Sludgy brown. Tut.
That bloody doctor is getting me to exploding point on the Doctors Appointments thread!!!!!
He is so much like a gp I had & for some time I did wonder...but mine had specialised in pediatrics & I have to say he was good with children. No adult liked him.

Not sure I'd like a face/head massage Kit but i did enjoy being having make up done last year & I didn't think I would.

Which top is it shaney? The plaited neck one? I like shades of brown, it suits my colouring better than black.
Oh pay no attention to him Lofty and stop getting yourself in a stew over it ..He's too full of his own self importance .
As I've said before .He lives in his ivory tower in the Med whilst moralising about the plebs and the NHS over here . Perhaps he forgets that the NHS has funded his lifestyle which he's forever ramming down our throats Tell him to eff off .Someone will soon :)
Question Author
:-( it didn't fund my lifestyle.
Yes ..this one Robinia ....
http://direct.asda.co...17427,default,pd.html
But they didn't have black .I do wear a lot of brown ( I'm a brown study gal ) but this does nothing for me .It seems wishy washy not deep chocolately .
It's the lights in there :)
I may take it back ...probably at the crack of dawn :)
I have calmed down he, he. He hasn't got a clue how some people live on so little and has no time for people who can't fend for themself.

I reckon if they cut down on all the clerical staff and them at the top with non-jobs then the NHS would be far better. Far too much bureaucracy. I think patients are seen as just a bloody nuisance!!

Not in a happy mood because a friend of mine was in severe pain the night before last. His son thought he may have appendicitis and called an ambulance. They said it was a severely pulled muscle and didn't take him in to hospital. Last night he was admitted with a burst appendix and the hospital are saying that had a few more hours elapsed he wouldn't be with us now.
That is a nice top Shaney. I have a brand new top for you from M&S. Black, light weight jumper - 3/4 sleeves scoop neck. I ordered the wrong size but didn't notice until I tried it on about 4 months later!! So it is yours if you want it, together with two pairs of M&S Cords, one brown, one Navy.

They are sitting here waiting for the OK for that Italian!!!
