my next door neighbour has had a flood of chocolates for her birthday and various other occaisons, so gave us some of them, including a hotel chocolate h-box. i told my dad that they're even more expensive than the thorntons he shoved in his mouth, but how much would a h-box of 15 chocolats cost?

he shoves food in his mouth and if there's a box of chocolates he rarely looks at the lable to see which he would like. he and my mum got a large box of thorntons for their anniversay and there was probably 30 chocolates inside, over 3 days, he had had over half of them himself. Which is such a waste as me and mum try and tell him and with this box we don't want him to shove probably £5 worth of chocolate that he probably won't like in his mouth in the space of ten minutes.

Take a look on their website...

They've got a store in Solihull and I have bought some choccies from there, but it was a few years back.. Quite pricey, yes, but oh-so-delish.
They sell most of their products online.

our next door neighbour is a single old lady, whose doctor said something about eating healthily or becoming diabetic soon, and she has had threee events in the last couple of months where poeple have given her chocolates
Question Author
and lots of them, so she gave us some of them.
if she just gave them to you, what does it matter than your dad doesnt look at the menu but chooses to just eat one. Perhaps he just likes the randomness of it?

The cost is also pretty irrelevent isnt it?
Question Author
but doesn't jsut choose to eat one, he eats half the box and sods law says he eats the half that me and my mum like and leaves the ones we don't
Question Author
and i've seen how expensive their products are and don't want my dad to jsut scoff and waste them.
1) ask your dad to share nicely
2) buy him a cheap box of chocs and get your mum to hide hers
3) get to them before your dad does and eat a load
We bought my Mum some hand made chocs and she ate them so fast that my husband said it was like giving strawberries to a donkey ! Hide the chocs mollykins. Tell him they are all gone .

Mollykins -- just let your Dad get on with it . You focus on your Art and Maths, that will take your mind off the chocs.
