No one HAS to participate, and can stop posting at any time. But for those who had a good laugh, they can carry on for as long as they wish. :-)
It's a bit of fun and involves a deal of lateral thinking, have a go

Postdog you just have to treat these long threads as a good read, Ie..snuggled up in front of the log fire with a glass of wine and wondering in anticipation at "Who's at the end"

"good laugh" Come on, I read a couple of pages - leaving aside the repetition it gets boring.
Also... you can join such a thread at any time, and if you replicate any previous answers... well big fat hairy deal !! Even though we are adults, we all love to be a bit silly from time to time. It punctuates the boredom.

Yes lateral thinking and yes I am sure.
I didn't join in for the simple reason...I don't like thinking.
I've decided to have a booze-free day today, Ummmm. Give my liver a little respite :-)

Jealous Postdog ??
Ive always wondered is there such thing as 'Longtitudal thinking"?
Postdog makes a good point.......some of the answers are ridiculous and one poster has occupied about 20% of the answers.

I agree it was funny, but postdog wonders..........why over 1,000 answers and he has a good point.

Postdog....like birthdays, Happy Xmass and long threads........they seem to be an index of one's perceived popularity.
well I find the Q&P threads especially dull so I don't go there, unless someone obviously needs heckling.
Lateral as in Dion Dublin is obvious but Brazil Brush is not
Why NM? Why? I don't understand...why?

Jalous of what? I just can't see the point. Or to be exact, of making it sticky - let it die, the moment has gone. It's the ghost of Christmas past I tell ya!
At the end of the day, I started the thead to inject a little light-hearted humour, and certainly didn't expect it to reach those proportions. Still, if people enjoyed keeping it going, where's the harm? It certainly beats some of the abusive threads we see on here.
bah humbug, Mr Scrooge ;o)
