cooking it today for a couple of vegetables (sic) who are visiting us.
thinking of roasting the veggies off with a bit of goose fat.

i know that would be mean, but would they notice ?

good point jack, whilst i had every expectation of hearing that it is delicious ( ! ), hadn't thought that they might ask for the recipe.

just have to tell them its a famiy secret or summink.
Just lie and say you used vegetable oil.
what if they did notice and left it,it would have been a waste of your time.AND they will never trust you again

Vegans can't drink most wines as it's made using animal products...

I was watching 'come dine with me' yesterday and there was a vegan on there...

ummm, I watched come dine with me as well, She even had vegan shoes, The woman over the road looks after her boyfriends kids who are strict veggies, She mentioned to me the other day that she buys asda extra special roast potatoes for them, Then added thay are covered in goosefat, but they dont know, how wrong is that.

im not vegan but i am veggie, and i think that is just pure morally wrong. thats not fair, ive been veggie for almost 20years as it is something i believe in and now just cant bring myself to eat meat. if i found out someone i trusted to cook for me had done that i would be gutted. plus feel sick. respect other people.

vegans are very strict in their diet & they would 'definately' notice the difference. Please dont serve them anything but vegan friendly food x
