Yes Bisto produce it in a powder

There are a few different types of curry available one being a powder type. It's nothing more than corn starch with curry powder added plus a few other ingredients. The other is a paste - not sure what the ingredients are.

Some Chip shops uses veggie curry powder type where you mix with cold water and slowly bring it to a simmer.

Try going to a Cash and Carry they'll bound to have it.

The Bisto Curry Sauce is not quite the same.

Not quite the same, but there's the 'Chinese curry sauce' aswell - you can get this in paste-form either in jars from Oriental grocers or in massive tubs from Chinese Cash-and-Carry's.

Mmmmmm  !!

The Bisto is YUK,buy the packets of powder mix or paste, much nicer.

If you can get to a Makro, theirs is quite likely to be the one lots of chippies use. Although Makro is predominantly a shop for trade, the packets and tins aren't that big and they're well worth it - I love it with my chips!!
