Bought this recently,we usually have lurpak spreadable, but it was on offer. What we've both noticed is that it tastes like coconut!! Has anyone else noticed this???

I can't say that I have ever noticed a coconut taste with Clover. I only buy it when it's on offer and it tyatses pretty much like the other brands to me. Perhaps you should take note of the production code and e-mail the makers. Get a couple of friends to see if they notice the odd taste too.
They haven't been using Coconut oil as one ot the "vegetable oils" listed in the ingredients, have they? Personally, I always thought it tasted like any other margarine, i.e. industrial waste.
