The bottles are small probably 50cl for £5.

It is supposed to be a liquer and not gulped down in copious quantities.

Lemoncello is a traditional Italian Liquer...I think it may originate in Sicily. ...Lovely stuff.
Damn....I was just in Aldi's.....wish I had known.

I had some lemoncello in Sorrento in May and it is VERY lemony, strong (in alcohol) and sweet. It gets you in the throat when you swallow!! Not the sort of thing to be guzzling down. I hope you all enjoy.
on one of james martin show's he showed how to make it, its really easy and dead nice! well my mum found it easy to make and i found it easy to sit on the patio drinking it......

Can I just add, this is lovely in a cheesecake too, especially if you top it with unsweetened raspberries - lovely!!!
