I dont like chicken or many vegetables but want to try and eat a better diet. Does anyone know any good and basic recipes to gently ease myself in to eating these things? Or does anyone have any miracle cures for fussy eating? lol. Thanks.

Perhaps you can tell us which vegetables you do like and that would help. Boneless pork loin steaks trimmed of fat and simply grilled with a little black pepper on are nice and fairly good fat wise.
Try a selection of vegetables roasted in the oven I use Three colours of pepper, courgettes ,red onions, cherry tomatoes clove of garlic . Fairly thinly slice up peppers, courgettes and onions and garlic and spread on a baking tray. bake med heat for about 20 mins then add tomatoes and seasoning and I make up a small dish of olive oil ,balsamic vinegar ,tomato sauce or puree and dried mixed herbs and toss the vegetables in it and bake until still slightly munchy. Winter veg I do in a similar way. Delicious. Then have what you enjoy with the veg. Fish, sausage, omelette etc. The veg alone very healthyway without being boring.
you can add to patsy annes recipe, butternut squash, aubergine mushroom, partly cooked potato, celery, all are good.

Thank you for this patsyann and merejeans, it sounds really good, I will definately give it a go. The only vegetables I eat just now are tomatoes, carrots and potatoes so definately need to try some more.
Try mushing them up into a tasty soup - adding different herbs/spices or whichever flavourings take your fancy. When cooked tip into a blender - you wont see them, but they'll taste delicious. Use any variation of veg & add noodles / rice / croutons if you wish - there's loads you can do, you just need to experiment. Also add sparingly to casseroles/pasta bakes etc - wean yourself into them - you'll find your bound to like some of them.
