What kind of cardio are you thinking of doing?
There is absolutely no reason to do 2 hours of Cardio per day, 20-30 minutes 3-4 times per week, along with a resistance routine is adequate.

You are setting yourself unrealistic goals, so you will be less likely to achieve them.

Hi again.

I mostly want to run/sprint and run stairs. I feel oftentimes my mind prevents me from accomplishing my goals, and that my body could do it if only I could motivate.

Suggestions, please.

Thank you!
I agree completely with Velvetee. A good exercise regime mixes cardio and weights. You should a) get medical clearance to start an exercise program and b) start slow and build up to your goals. If you try to sprint and run stairs for 2 hours right off the bat you are likely to injure yourself and get discouraged. It might also help to find a workout partner who shares your goals so you can keep each other motivated.

It doesn't seem like this is what you want to hear, but I think it's the right way to go.
One thing I find that motivates me is to get into the gear. When you're in the running shoes and sportswear your body is ready to go. Find out when the best time is for you; early morning or evening and stick to it. Don't give yourself the option of not doing it even if it rains, unless of course you're ill. As others say work up to it. Velvetee is a pro.
Two hours a day is rather steep but nothing stopping you from a good 30 minutes then an hour walk. Do make sure you sip water as you go. Good luck!
Nothing like the Spring to motivate us, is there?

Thanks so much for your tips. They were really helpful.

well this is what helped me... i bought an exercise bike for 20 from the local re-use shop (the tip!) and set it up in the spare bedroom with a tv in front of it. every day when i got in from work, instead of parking my b"tt and watching neighbours and home and away, i sat pedalling on my bike. ive lost nearly a stone in 6 months, which some may say is a bit slow. but you know what they say.... slow and steady wins the race. and it means i can still have my wine and drink it ;o)

Good idea about the tele. You guys, whats a good way to stop eating at night? That's killing me, too.

Thanks,

Cis
I think that is way too much and after a few days you will have had enough.
Just eat healthy and do half hour to 45 mins per day
To start off the day, have a warm glass of water on a empty
stomach, to the water add half of fresh lemon juice, 1tsp honey and a pinch of cinomone powder, follow this routine everyday, dont worry if u miss a day or two. then go on doin 1hr cardio type excerise every day first thing in the morning after having the warm water, if u feel u havent got time on a hetic day, then aim 4 a 20min that day. dont know if u r a food lover, but make it religous not hav any carbs after 7.30pm. i go on and tell u abt the honey etc as to how good it is for u, but as u R on the nett am sure u can check it out urself. good luck
