sorry i spelt chocolate fountain wrong in the title lol
Didn't it come with instructions?

The vegetable oil is to keep the chocolate flowing and is alwsys used in a cholcolte fountain. No idea where it goes though, sorry.
you mix it with the chocolate when you melt it then put it into the bottom tray on your fountain, if you wait for the fountain to melt the chocolate you will wait forever so you best to melt it in a pan first. i use just enough to make it run smooth but it should say in your instructions, you can add more oil once you have put the mix in the chocolate fountain so just add a bit at first and see how you go. i have used other oils before now, almond oil is nice. feel like getting mine out now
if you buy the thorntons chocolate pellets you dont need the oil , and they taste nicer
Use groundnut oil as it has no flavour or smell.
