PLEASE HELP

I am looking for marzipan cChristmas figures (Santa, Snowmen etc.) for Xmas cake decorating and I have come up completely empty handed

In past years, every supermarket has had these - but this year there seems to be a complete lack

Please can someone tell me if they know of anywhere selling them this year

Cheers

Here's a mailorder source...they are very expensive.........why not try making your own????
do you have a speciality cakeshop? i'm sure you can get them there
or try here

Make ur own smurfy sort...color them with veg colors. While your at it can you make me the marzipan fruits? Think my (dec'd) Aunt used to dust with icing sugar to 'crust' the fruit.

Hi Phil, I bought exactly what you describe in Sainsburys last weekend. They were in the home baking aisle. Hope this helps.

I've been in THREE Sainsburys, two Morrissons, an Asda, a Tesco - NOTHING IN ANY OF THEM

Snag is (perhaps) we're "oop North" - so maybe this exotic stuff doesn't travel so well

Patiserie Valerie looks good - but no further "North" than Milton Keynes (and they don't seem to mail order their Marzipan figures)

Ah well :(
