Hi we had semolina and jam for service users and was trying to remember a mixture of custard flavoured semolina, you could cook in on the stove, but it was better baked in the oven, it was custard coloured!!!!

sorry dust its not that, you could buy a packet of the semolina based powder, it cooks just like semolina but its orange colour like custard!!!
sago ?? tapioca ???
But...custard isn't orange, is it? It's dark yellow, just like...err...semolina? lol
Could be tapioca?
Yes - or even ground rice, with nutmeg or flavouring added to it?
I think you are talking about creamola pudding . came in a packet ,was a powder and you made it up like custard. Wasnt a scottish only product though.
Hi puddicat me again. I have just googled Creamola and it was a Glasgow factory that made the products but my Mother bought hers down South. I loved creamola foam too.Go on google and see for yourself.

Just googled it and people said it was ground rice orange coloured, blinking delicious, think will start a campaign to bring it back, so others could try it!!!!
I loved cremola too puddicat - I got funny looks in shops when it started to become scarce 'cos I always bought a pkt for my sister & mum at the same time as my own.

I found a recipe to make it yourself ages ago but I've never tried it so I'm not sure how it compares...
