I know this should be in the Media and TV section but more people see it here .... just watched The Family and that couple must have the patience of saints!! That Emily - how rude can you get? She seems to dominate the whole series.

And lazy , she lives at home rent free as she isnt working ,mum and dad out at work so she should do some housework at least to pay her way , all she seems to do is whine and hug her dad , are the cameras just showing us the bad bits i wonder ?

I wondered that too - are the programmes heavily edited? Maybe she's at home now, watching herself and cringing.

I SOO wanted to smack her...but that is never the way. No- she needs to learn that everything does not come on a plate. My daughter had been working-while going to school- for several years already at her age. Just the desire to have more clothes and makeup should be incentive at that age. Maybe she needs a short sharp shock....get a job,or get out.

I haven't seen it yet, (someone was playing the PS3 when I arrived home) I do get annoyed at how many times the mum has a go at the dad to sort out Emily, then when he does, she storms in and has a go at him for being too harsh!!

Who pays for Emily's taxi to here.... taxi to there.... mobile bill etc etc?

I missed it for a couple of weeks, watched it tonight, and it was the same old thing going on!

All been edited I know, but it shows the dad being the good guy all the time.. Emily plays one parent against the other. Dad always gives in, and how many times did he kiss her tonight!! She acts like a baby when it suits.

I'm 17 and she acts like shes younger than me its quite embarrassing to watch to be honest. If i was here I'd feel so stupid. There's no need for how she is her mum does nothing wrong.
