I've made cake to a recipe, but it seems too dry. Is there anything I can do to make it moist? Thanks

Yes you need to prick it all over and put brandy or sherry over it to sink in.
Make sure you wrap it well in greaseproof paper and then into a tin or foil.
Do this two or three times before Xmas. xx
Brandy - and turn the cake each time you do it.

Do it once a week
I agree with the above ^^^^..and the more you put in,the better.

Just an update on the xmas cake. Thanks very much for answers. I've had rave reviews for the cake & it was commented by several people how moist it was! So thanks again to those who helped!
