Ok smarty pants :-)

i must get this ' ' key fixed though .
see what ' ' mean ?
My tea has sugar and I drink all day but not constantly 'on the run' tho' I am suspicious of the sugar, especially the non-cane sugar.
sugar would be more likely to dehydrate you, than act as a diuretic. Tea and coffee are diuretics though. So are a lot of diet fizzy drinks
sorry just realized that my comment doesn't really make sense since diuretics do tend to dehydrate you! I'll blame it on my lack of sleep.
Not this old chestnut again! Yes they do, BUT it is TINY compared to the volume of liquid you have taken in when consuming them.

That is, if you drink 100ml of Coffee then 100ml of liquid does not pass straight through you (as some on here have suggested - joggerjayne for one). It might cause, maybe, 0.01ml of liquid that might have been absorbed/utilised to not be absorbed/utlised and thus "pass straight through" but that is all.

ALL liquids are valid for calculating your daily fluid intake.
