I have some wonderful HOT habanero chillies from South Devon Chilli Farms (I do NOT work for them, they are truly worth the plug however), and I know you can 'freeze anything' but any particular tips about freezing fresh chillies - e.g. blanch first ?

I think habanero are also known as scotch bonnets, anyway i once put too many in my chili and nearly did my family serious damage. But in answer to your question i freeze chillies all the time by just putting them whole in freezer bags and just run them under water before using them.
Habaneros are different to Scotch Bonnet, but both are among the hottest. As Molly says, just freeze them whole in a bag.
