I don't know where you could buy them, but you make them very cheaply - thread cocktail sticks through little triangles made of card (use green card and either print or neatly write a large V on each piece) and stick one through one of the buffet snacks, you'd only need one per plate then. I will keep looking to see if I can find some you can buy though.
I've found some card stands that might be suitable - you'd have to create the cards with the necessary *V* to slot into them. There are loads of different types shown on this site:-

Hey, Mr Pickle... what a brilliant idea ! As a veggie too, I simply only offer veggie food but I am still cautious when eating out. An *ahem* veggie friend of mine (she calls herself a veggie but still eats fish, hence my use of *ahem*..lol) put on a buffet when she got married but since she included fish on the table, a lot of us were very confused. I still had to ask mates to test taste stuff for me to find out what it contained - it's very hard to see inside samosas, pastries etc !

Anyway, the point of my reply here is to mention to Lucydog that veggies (generally) don't eat:- meat and fish, whilst vegans (generally) don't eat:- meat, fish, dairy produce and eggs.

I don't like those *pretend* meats etc (Quorn, textured veg protein etc) because they taste like meat and I don't know many veggies in the UK who like them either.
