Boiled eggs smell awful? Mine don't.

What is the source of the eggs?

Boiling an egg releases certain gasses (notably sulphur dioxide - there is sulphur in eggs) by opening certain tissues. Other forms of cooking retain such gasses, at least to a certain extent.
