What is the best Cheese to use on a grilled Lobster please ?.

Don't want anything too strong to spoil the Lobster taste.

You are right in that its easy to drown the delicate flavour of lobster- so many grilled lobster recipes dont use cheese at all, try lemon juice and olive oil with fresh ground pepper instead.

However if you want a cheesy lobster recipe, this one is quite nice..Uses parmeggiano reggiano.

If I have anything at all with lobster (my mouth has started watering!), it`s a little mayonnaise with finely chopped chives, parsley & basil. Perhaps a squirt of lemon juice as well. Cheeses are tricky, Port Salut is very bland. Bon appetite!

If one is tryng to impress- which i suspec you might be (!!! :) )
I would go for a Puilly fuisse or a Meursault.

Waitrose does some nice ones. Meursault Louis Jadot (pricey at £21.99 tho') or slightly more reasonable, Pouilly fuisse bouchard aine (at £14.99).

Or just go to a decent off license/wine merchant and et one there!!

Enjoy!
