how long for 1st class

i posted a parcel last friday 1st class and it still hasnt arived at its destination.
How long should it take? First time ive posted anything like this so im not sure if its normal or i should start thinkiing it aint getting there at all now ? :-(

It was a pressie for helliebobs little mans 1st birthday which was on Tuesday so im not happy about it. I would have thought 2-3 days max to be honest.

Aww, that's poo, hun. :( I left it even later than you and posted it on Saturday and I think it got there on the Monday (it did, didn't it, bobs? :oS). My mum's a PO manager and she would say that it shouldn't take any longer than 4 days for 1st class. How did you send it, hun?

i sent it first class WS,now thats just made me feel worse knowing that! :-(

Ahhhh that's what you need Jules, a PO manager mum!!!
The parcel from Squidger was quite large too and that got to mine on Monday morning - very spookily left in my proch cos the wind blew my front door open. I lvoe that penguin! ;)

Unruly if you sent the parcel first class then it won't have a tarck and trace number, unless you sent it recorded or signed for.

My dad sent me a wedding anniversary card - he picked it special and was handmade so I'm gutted but it hasn't turned up yet and he posted that on Sunday March 2nd. I'm still waiting for postie every day though in case it does arrive.

Incidentally this card was sent from Norfolk to Oxford - don't know if yours was maybe going the same kind of direction and they might turn up?? Our sorting office is crap so it doesn't surprise me if it is just late and not necessarily stolen / missing.
