Babe Ruth candy bars, for certain. Never saw any boxes of chocolates come into the house. Limitless packs of 200
Camels, Lucky Strikes, and Chesterfields.

Many thanks
Have contacted a member of the American 8th Air Force
on this matter. He confirmed Babe Ruth's, and added
Tootsie Rolls. He could not recall boxes of chocs in his PX at Molesworth.
I recall my older sister saying the GI's over here used to hand out Hershay Bars to the kids.
