Does anyone else have this ritual on Valentines day, where there is a knock at the door, and sweets are left by Valentine (usually mum or dad!)

Or is this just something we do in Norfolk?

weeal, its something my mum and dad used to do for us. Knock at back door, leave a carrier bag with sweets/comics in it, then they would run to the front door and leave something else there.

I started it with my kids when they were young.

Wish I had'nt lol

cazzz, its a pain, you have to do it on Valentine evening. knock at one door and run like hell before anyone sees you.

I live on a main road, the motorists must think I am mad!

you tell the kids theres no santa, no tooth fairy etc but have to then convince them that there IS a guy called jesus that you cant see who is everywhere at once lol
