Has anyone ever cooked a guinea fowl? Presume I roast it? How long for & what is it usualy served with? Do you carve it or just split it into half?? Anyone any ideas. Thanks.

Treat it just like chicken. I love guinea fowl and find that it will give more servings than a similar sized chicken. Hope you enjoy it.

I eat a lot of guinea fowl - but they are much smaller than chickens and really one fowl serves only two adults.

Thanks to you too Ethel. Me & the man indoors have a butchers shop, so decided to get some in. They've sold out & even sold mine. Have eaten it out but never cooked it myself. I will cook one when we get some more.
