Has anyone cooked chillies in a microwave before adding them to dishes?

Why would you want to cook chillies before adding them to a dish?

I only had the one small chilli off on of my chillI plants wanted to add them to melted chocolate I had microwaved for 25 seconds and make chilli chocolate.

In the end I zapped them in the microwave for about 20 seconds and they cooked up ok.

Chilli Chocolate first thing this morning at work went down very well !
