What sweets can you remember from your childhood that arn`t around anymore?I used to love spangles.

Theres a traditional sweet shop just opened round the corner from me which sells stuff in jars like the old days - thats what I imagine heaven smelling like :)

Spearmint Pips
Buttons Choc Coconut Squares (pink & silver wrapper)
Banana Palm Toffee (loved stretching them out)!
Aniseed Balls
Murray Mints
Sugared Almonds (couldn't wait to get to the nut tho')


Oh bigmamma - I loved Jubblies too, 'specially the red ones! You can still buy them, but alas, they're much smaller now. Needless to say, when you've sucked your way thro' one, you always want another!

Your'e so right bigmamma! It seemed to take forever to suck way at the hard sugar coating, before finally getting to the tasty bit! Then end up with a sore tongue!

Chocolate Limes.....I know you can still get them but it's a lot harder now. They use to make your tongue sore.
